As of Writing this, the average sales price in the Pittsburgh metro over the last 6 months has been $252,231. That means going with the average agent vs. Adam will likely cost you $7,819 or More... If you have a more expensive home that potential loss could be even more if you work with an "average" agent. 2022 was no fluke either... In 2021 (one of the hottest market's we have seen) Adam's sell price to list price ratio was 101.36% vs the market average of 96.18% or approximately $12,700 more. In fact over the last 8 years Adam has helped his clients sell on average for 98.45% of list price vs the MLS average of 93.23% during the same time period. It's a good reminder that the old saying "you get what you pay for" is generally true. If you were getting surgery, I'm sure you'd only consider the results the doctor had, not shop on cost. In the same fashion when looking for the right agent to sell your home results are more important than cost. With an agent paying an extra percent to get five more makes total sense. Conversely, generally the worse the results an agent typically gets, the bigger the discount they are willing  to give clients because they know their value is minimal.
